I remember growing up… being in high school and having this great motivation to learn how to fish.
I really didn’t have any help to learn except by trial and error.
In the early 70’s bass fishing was just
getting started. I had a few high school buddies that I had fished with and we shared information about bass fishing. Me and Jack Tibbs…..mayor of Eufaula…after school would let out, we would get our dad’s rod and reel and tackle and head down to the local ponds to compete to see who could catch the most and biggest bass.
In 73 Jack and I attended a Ray Scott fishing seminar at Columbus Municipal Auditorium when big names like Tom Mann, John Powell, and others taught the public on how to catch bass.
For 50 years I have been fishing and have learned quite a bit. So now I want to give back. I want to pass it on….I’m available to help anyone be a better bass fisherman!
